Pretty low when you factor in prestige. Unless your choosing to ignore that.

I'm level 35, no prestige. Because my internet connection is so poor, I can't search for my own games, so I have to join friend's games which probably inhibits my ability to level up more quickly. I'm not really complaining though, I still have fun joining my mate's games.

I have the same problem Kenny has. My internet has been really poor lately, but I've still been able to play enough to reach level 63 on my first prestige. Guess that could be better after 5 days played, but no on my friends list seems to be better.

I've had it since the day it came out, I'm only rank 39 and not even prestiged yet.

You can probably tell I don't really like it. I prefer CoD4 but barely anyone plays it anymore so I normally end up on Modern Warfare 2.

Yeah, I noticed that there's rarely more than 25,000 people on CoD4 anymore. At least you can still find matches on it though, it could of been like other games where as soon as the sequel comes out, the previous game becomes a complete afterthought.
I don't blame you for not liking it though, a lot of idiots have been running around with some of the most moronic glitches (like that damned care package glitch), but every now and then, you can get in a game or 2 that's full of legit players.
