Well, Jason and JRD almost always showed up at the old time on mondays. I think most of the other voters lost their vote from not showing up.

The time doesn't matter to me either way, though I do prefer Mondays.

Wow, I never thought showing up to all those games when I could barely play because of my computer would ever make a difference. I guess being loyal has it's rewards.

Now if I can only get my computer to play HL2DM without throwing the memory cannot be read error... :cry:

Sorry guys. On Saturday I was out and about with friends. RL > RSBandB. Not putting you guys down, but you know how it is. Anyway, I should be fine for this weekend as long as no more friend events come up.

Or on the server browser favorites page you can right click ->add server and enter the ip then click the find servers at this address button.

Ya, I lagged way too much on that server. Don't know what the deal was with that.

Did you try any other HL2 servers after you left? I'm not sure why you'd be lagging, the server appeared to be running fine for others there.

Ahh, sorry I missed this week. Got tied up watching a show. Maybe I'll put some sticky notes on my laptop for next week...or maybe on the TV.

Duke, What map were you lagging on? I lag quite alot on Hellhole(I think that's it's name, it's the one with the two trains in the subway) and a fair bit on Doghouse Christmas.
Also, did you have any other programs open? I'm not referring to IM protocols like MSN, I mean something like a graphics program or web browser. Did you have a program like that or another game(WoW, GW, etc) open before HL? Usually I restart before going into HL because I've found that some programs which aren't laggy normally can cause HL to lag.
Was anyone in your house or(if you use Wi-fi) any on the wi-fi downloading something?

And, have you tried lowering all of your graphics settings? Might help.

His issues were connection based somehow, thus my joking about stopping the **** downloads.

That's my go-to for online gaming issues, wither the person is downloading it or not.

In any case, awesome turnout last night. I think we were around 14 at some point, tapering to 10 toward the end.

It was good until someone used the wrong command to switch maps and killed the server.

We need to get that admin plugin working again.

It really shouldn't have been framerate lag, we were mostly only playing on the official valve maps that came with the game. Typically those should be a lot easier to run than custom maps.
