I really don't understand the huge need for the name change considering that how much I find it difficult to even find that remotely offensive. I mean everybody was alright with the airport mission in MW2, but when you are allowed to "play" as talibans in just the multiplayer aspect of Medal of Honor the entire world goes nuts.

Not the entire world. More info has come out since then. Just familys of those that have lost loved ones. The British and Canadian militarys and the American military, navy and airforce.

Tho what really made them change it was the American military threatning to pull it's support. As there being oh so kind and running an ad campaign or some such **** involving the American military. There plan is to be more patriotic than COD to win over the Americans.

So i was actually wrong. EA didn't give a **** about being insensitive.

Just played the beta.

So why is the world making such a fuss about this? This game is horribly bland. It's like they took the graphics and some audio from BC2, made it worse, and mixed it with elements from CoD. There's none of the humor from the Battlefield (Repair tool kills, anyone? Or how about the great dialogue), and it's more "arcadey" too...

It's like Combat Arms at $50/$60.

If I had loved ones who died in the war, I would buy the game just so I could shot the **** outta those *******.

I also think that this kind of war game should have waited a few years after we win the war against them, since emotions are still running high about it.

I've yet to be proven wrong about anything so far. Good luck to you.

I make that comment having not played the game, never having watched a single video of it and avoiding all dev interviews about the game. So I'm pretty much clueless about the game. But i am still going to be correct.

Campaign wont be over 6 hours on normal. Multiplayer will be the same as COD. Perks, fast respawns, quick deaths. Balanced in the sense that all the guns are pretty much 1 hit kills.

I'd like to add on 800 point map packs but i can't guarentee that one. Dunno how your going to prove me wrong though. I said there trying to i didn't say they was going to succeed at it not this time around. You've gotta give treyarch a few runs to really screw up COD first.

Gotta excuse my arrogance I've been watching a lot of House lately and i think i've taken him on as a sort of father figure.

Already proved you wrong. Not all guns are 1 hit kills, half of the sniper rifles aren't even one hit kills. If I remember correctly, there are no perks, and respawning takes quite a bit. Also Creepy, I want you to give me ONE FPS game that had a campaign that lasted over 6 hours on normal. By the way, in case you guys were too ignorant to realize, the beta is only multiplayer, no? Yeah, they said this a while ago: DICE DEVELOPED THE **** MULTIPLAYER. OF COURSE IT'S GOING TO BE LIKE **** BAD COMPANY. The single player isn't Dice. The single player is EA, alright? So before you guys say that they copied COD and BF again, why don't you wait until you can see what EA did?

I said pretty much all one hit kills. A rapid fire 2 shot sniper hardly makes any difference. Perks will be there. They might not be called perks but they are in there in one form or another. Dunno about respawn makes no sense if it's not fast. The games set up to be fast paced.

As for your FPS length challenge:

Half life 2. Bioshock. Halo;CE, Crysis, bioshock 2, Resistence 2, Killzone 2 ( i think i cant say i timed it?), resistence. Theres a nice list. I was being nice cause i could of thrown in halo 3 and alot more cause they sure take me longer than 5 hours to run through.

I also disagree that BF multiplayer and this games are the same. This is BFBC2;

Thats made me want to play BFBC2 again cause it's reminded me of how awesome it is. Wonder how much it is on steam now..

This is MOH;

That has confirmed my suspicions.

Anywho don't get angry over it. Tis all opinions in the end. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

What suspicions? That quickskoping is in the game? I didn't even know it was in the game, and I put almost 20 hours into the beta.

That it's the same as call of duty of course. That video is just like every COD montage out there.

Because it's from Machinima... All they do is COD montages.

30 USD. BC2 is even more amazing on the PC because you're not dealing with 12 yr olds high on XBOX live.

Yeah, I make sure my entire team is made up of friends for that exact reason.

So is the BFBC2 montage. It looks nothing like COD.

EXACTLY!!! Not the wrong part, cause of course you are never wrong. xD

It is about insensitivity, but only in regards to the fact that it affects money making. Let me put it like this.

S1. Being insensitive reduces supports and sales.
S2. Reduced support and sales means less money/profit.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
C. Being insensitive means less money/profit.

If the cost reduced sales from leaving that content in is great enough, EA would rather cut it from the game. Thus, it's more about making money and profiting than about being insensitive. Yay economics and greediness!!!
