Is a pretty good game i think. Never played the original. But i think this ones probably the best shooter this year.


The voice acting is crap, the facial animations are laughable and the AI is pretty **** stupid. I will say that. The shooting is hard to judge because I've just been using my tranq gun, the stealth is alright and the levels are huge, with multiple routes and lots of options to choose from.

It's also real refreshing to go into your upgrade page and instead of seeing the usual ******* of increase health, increase armour (it does have those actually) you see the ability to punch holes through walls. Lovely. So i picked that one. Cause you can never punch enough walls.

I recomend you buy this instead of call of duty. As this actually takes some thinking to play and a chimp could not complete it. Now I've meantioned COD this topic should get to six pages.

Also if you have any soul at all and you're a fan of the Thief series you should just buy this game anyway. Cause the same studio will be making Thief 4 now this game is out and if deus ex is anything to go by it should turn out very loyal to the original games hopefully with the same big open levels that deus ex has..tho the stealth will need improving upon.

I remember the trailer for this game looking cool. I'd buy it if I had some more monies and wasn't going to buy like 5 games this fall.

Watching Inside Gaming Daily before the release there was literally 1 new Deus Ex trailer every day, to the point that we saw most of the game before it even came out.

Anyway, talking about the game, I might buy it, my friends are saying it's a good game and most of the games I get recommended turn out to be really fun games.
