Na, it won't beat out Facebook at this point unless it provides something amazing or does something exceptionally better than FB.

It looks nice, but I don't think there is enough dislike of Facebook by the general public to give it up. No other network has ever reached a billion users. It is unlikely there will be any mass migration to another network.

G+ is quite good as well, but the adoption rate is minimal. Or at least the actual active users is a very small number. I don't see MySpace being any different with the general populace. The one thing that MySpace is doing correct, however, is allowing people to integrate with their preexisting networks. That alone might make the site at least become attractive to people with other social networks.
