Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Timelines Shared at Computex

Well, Last night I was on and nobody knew when Windows 7 was coming out. So I did some searching (didn't take long) and found out that it is going to be released. Funny how I found this article the day is was published. Anyways, the official date is October 22, 2009 (a.k.a. this year ). Windows 7 is essentially Windows Vista the way is was supposed to be (but better). I believe that it will be a free update for Vista users, but beyond that I do not think it will be available to other Windows users for free. Thoughts about it? Personally, I'm looking forward to it. My computer for college has Vista. I haven't used it much yet so I really have nothing to say about Vista. All I have heard are bad things. I hope Windows 7 is awesome off the charts. Sounds like it is.

Two of my last few articles have been on Windows 7 [Beta] [Release Candidate], and as you can see I'm quite excited about the release. It's been known that the official build would be out by mid October, and it was announced officially a few days back.

Vista isn't bad, especially after the 3 years it's already had to mature. Especially once you start customizing it, you'll find it hard to go back to anything below Vista
