Not a bad attempt. It's ALOT harder to make signature with real person than unreal characters. Your background is pretty well done, But I'd stick with a color that would suit more the colors of the render. Have you cut that render yourself out of a picture? That would explain alot. You can always find pre-made renders on planetrenders.com. As for the text, I would consider adding strokes to make it more appealing and change the font. Microsoft fonts are bad, if you want a good one, you should go at www.dafont.com

Not bad, The more you will make, the better you will get :P

Once i have a render how do i get the black away?Is there a easier way to get it away than just cutting it out? Also how do you add fonts to photoshop?

To cut the render, Use the Magic Eraser tool, it will completly remove the background in one shot.

Plus I dont use Photoshop to add text, I prefer to use Photofilter. Because I believe adding text with PS is quite hard.

If you get it from http://www.Planetrenders.com, you have to sign up, and then go click on the image on the site, then right click -> save to computer -> .png

For Text in Photoshop CS4, look for the little T in the icons.

For your new sig, it looks pretty good for a second attempt. I recommend taking the eyedropper tool and take a color from the render and then using that color for the background instad of a color that doesn't match the render at all.

You're progressing quickly, you just need to blend your render into the background. Set an outerglow on it our something to allow it to fad into the background a bit better.

Not bad. The hair looks a little choppy and digitized in parts, but otherwise very good sig that I can see. Nicely done.
