Scavenger Hunting Time, RSBandB Style (Winner Announced)

Event Idea: It’s time for RSBandB to go on a scavenger hunt! To start off, Owen and Myself going to do this event in F2P for those F2P people. To ensure there isn’t any cheating, the list of items will not be posted until the event starts. And since we don’t want any cheating, we are going to have people stationed at banks, and the ge. The meeting place is here,



And you’ll have an hour or so to get as many items as you can get (as specified by Owen or Myself the day of the event). I am going to be the person who is telling everyone when the time starts, stop, etc, and Owen, as he lives in Hong Kong, is going to come in at a random time, and he is going to give out a random item that will get you a bonus points, which could help you in the long run. We might also have some more Event Crew members around Runescape giving out other items that might also count as bonuses, but that is to be decided. Basically think of this as Penguin hide and seek. The items you need to get are the penguins you need to find, and Owen will be like the Polar Bear.

Rules: No Banking, We will have people at the banks or around the banks so no on will cheat. If you leave my clanchat, or log out, you will be disqulaified. Switching worlds or having a friend get your an item (we have our ways of finding out what items you probably got from the G.E. or from a friend).

Suggested Levels: 33 Smithing, 31 Prayer, 30 Woodcutting, 15 Mining, A relatively high Cooking level and Fairly good Combat levels
Suggested Quests to be done: Rune Mysteries, Goblin Diplomacy and The Knight's Sword

The event is going to be held on Saturday, January 23rd, 2010 at 7:00pm Rsbandb time (6:00pm Pacific/9:00pm Eastern/10:00pm Atlantic/2:00am Sunday GMT), we'll be on world 154 in the Clan Chat Mli 699

The event was great. Owen and Mli did a good job with the rules before hand and Mli stayed in the CC throughout it. Owen hid well too. After the event he said where he had been and it turns out I had passed that area twice, lol. Time really flew by as I tried to gather all the items. It's amazing the difference agility and teleports make in P2P.

Ya, I thought about getting those, but then decided to not. Really paid off though =/
