I went to it every so often but i never really liked it, yes, some of the threads were funny but then the other ones... ya... I'm glad that the sandbox it gone but you never know, I didn't reply to any of the threads so maybe I missed out on it.

The Sandbox was a sub-forum where you could post spam or test out your forum signature/avatar. It had been part of the forum since 2004 and we decided to close it over a month ago since a lot of flaming, drama, and overall lack of activity in other sub-forums was happening. Some people miss it, other don't.

As long as the majority of the community is happy with the decision (and judging from the replies, they are), I'm happy with it as well. A lot more interesting topics have popped up and people have had better attitudes toward their fellow members.

I never really used the Sandbox. It was just a waste of space and time. There was that one person that always went "+1" or "-1" at everything in there. [-X

edit: just realized I wasn't really on topic. XD

I do miss the sandbox, I still end up scrolling down to tech talk and thinking of how empty it looks down there. I will admit that it did become a big mess right before its removal, but I still liked some of the topics that were posted. Unfortunately the spammy annoying stuff basically took over the funny older sandbox things.
