So who remembers the old chat? I really enjoyed it and im really missing it. I dont play runescape or dont care for teamspeak so talking to my friends is hard sometimes, msn is nice but not all have. Im asking Shane and Mike to bring the old chat back, whichever version is easier on you guys to bring back. Please vote if you support bring the old chat back.

P.S. If you dont remember the old chat, or were not around RSBandB had a chat room.

I have to say no. We have a habit of adding things that never get used, team speak being one of these. It took Mike hours to get it working with the forum logins, then what do we get two weeks later? No one using it.

The old chat was hard to use and manage. It was also cumbersome to manage from an admin standpoint. That chat also came with too many strings attached to the server.

And before someone suggests it, no we can't do IRC.

I see no reason to bring it back. As I said to Mike (or somebody) the other day. The great thing about Clan Chat in RS is that people can happily sit in it, even when its empty, and wait for people to come along and talk to. With a chat room, very few people would actually sit in there waiting for others to turn up, hence nobody goes in, and it doesn't get used at all. As was the case for the majority of the time we had it before.

LOL the new chat i havent seen one person it and i was wondering if u should start like a bear share channel or sumin ya know with real voices....?

Yes it is and we wont be doing that, we have teamspeak you can use that.

I remember the Old Chat, I could never get on but now with teamspeak, my and alex 43 can talk with using the phone and not seeing each other in person.
