Are you EC material? [Apps Closed]

Applications are now closed.

Zomg you guessed it once again we're recruiting, this time we're trying a different approach to our usual hand picking.

Threatening stuff:

The EC is a group of people that get a lot of freedom, a big chance to contribute things to this site, to get things done, to get there ideas on how to improve things out and heard and actually considered but they also have responsibilities that they are expected to live up to. We don't allow slackers, if you don't pull your weight you're gone.

We rarely give the usual 3 strikes, if we don't think your pulling your weight most of the time you'll find yourself removed. This is a commitment by applying your telling us you wish to dedicate yourself to it and will put the time and effort into it. If not please don't waste our time.

What you need to be:

To be apart of the EC we need you to be creative, have unique ideas that you can put into action, we need you to be capable of leading, listening and handling situations on your own using your own initiative.

This is not a way to get a free rank, this is not a position you can afford to slack off in and if that's your reasoning please close this now and don't bother reading on. In fact, thinking about it this post is going to be an essay, if you're the type that wont read it all go away, it's called being lazy. ;]

What's expected of you:

-You'll be expected to moderate the Rsbandb chat room in game responsibly and in an unbiased manner.

- Contribute ideas to monthly events, show up to as many events as possible, step up and take responsibilities if you have an idea IS IT GOING TO BE POSSIBLE? Are YOU going to be willing to step up, manage it and run it? Are YOU going to know what to do if it doesn't go to plan and you have a bunch of people standing around waiting for you to do something?

- Give feedback, anything you don't think is running as well, or could run better, any criticisms you've heard from the community.

- Contribute your own ideas, is there something you think we could do? An idea you'd like to put into practice? We like creative thought and if you have something we'll hear it and consider it.

So, with the usual stuff out the way heres how you can apply:

We want you to come up with an Event idea, we want it to be detailed, well thought out and most importantly we want it to *work*.

The Events Crew will be holding a vote on which they think is the best idea once we've got all entries. All entries are to be in by the 5th of July, you have exactly one week to get the planning done, plenty of time.

I'd also like to point out that any applications without a great amount of detail will simply go to /dev/null (the garbage). With this we want you to pretend you are already an events crew member and plan every detail of your great event.

Also since this position involves chat moderating anyone with a past record of mischief on rsbandb will have difficulty getting accepted.

As much as I'd like to me in the EC, I don't think its for me. I'm not very creative

Will we know who is in the EC before July 8th? I am going on vacation for a month, so I would like to know before then.

well i just have one question, would a person who is f2p have less of a chance of getting on since most events are member orientated?

I'm guessing that all you do is go onto the RSBANDB clan chat and make sure nothing inapropriate happens in the clan chat. That is my guess and correct my if I am wrong
