Yes, anywhere you go, weathermen seem to be the only ones greatly concerned about the weather. Everyone else where you live seems to believe it's business as usual.

Heh that's true. I don't see why anyone needs to watch the weather, just look out your window! The weather forecast is a guessing game anyways.

So it snowed 10 centimetres? Well I guess you better leave the house a bit earlier. There will be people will be driving like retards no matter what the weather is like, just a little more so in bad weather.

Man, I love Mr. Mercer's rants!

I think there was a time when the city of Toronto called in the army because of snow.

I'm trying to convince myself it wasn't that, because if I remember correctly, it wasn't a lot of snow that the army was called in for.

Looking at Edmonton however, I really hope we get more snow this year. This far into December and I can still see old, dead grass clunked everywhere across the fields. It's a real shame there hasn't been more, the weather's really crazy. Although when on occasion things go wacky, people still remain calm and routinely engaged into whatever they've been doing, not act up and whine. Still, more snow is good. A white Christmas with waist-deep snow is the kind of Christmas for me!

This is kind of funny, because it's actually widely known that most Canadians will go on and on about the weather, no matter what it is or where you are. It's a good conversation starter and sustainer. :P

I hate watching weather on TV. I hate news channels in general. Thoses are the lamest thing EVER.

Weather channel is uberly dumb. Who gives a **** about how many centimeters of snow is going to fall from the sky? WHO ON EARTH IS GOING TO TAKE A RULER AND ACTUALLY MEASURE IT? Why don't you just say «Tomorrow, IT WILL SNOW AS **** SO STAY HOME» or «We're forecasting snow, but actually, we're ******* and are wrong 99% of time so the best way to figure it out for real is to look by the window tomorrow just before you leave home.»
THAT, would be true.
And they never say «50% of probabilities of *insert something*». Always 40% or 60%, but never 50%. Because that would be the stupidest thing ever. Yo we actually have no idea if we will have rain tomorrow, maybe yes, maybe not.
Wow, as accurate as flipping a coin. Suckers.

But actually. It's not the weather channels that I hate. It's the annoying/obsessive people watching it and go crazy at every word the weatherman says. Dumbest rednecks ever. WOOOOOOHOHO HAVE U HERD DAT?? 30CM OF SNOW TOMORROW OH OHO OH OH OH!!!

Seriously...STFU! We have **** snow every year and most of days of winter. That's why we call it WINTER!
Get over it.
