the funny thing is, it's not spontaneous, behavioral analysis with slow-motion video has proven that people prep themselves to fall. I was talking to a friend of mine who was once speaking at a church, where a woman came up during an alter-call after a sermon, and when my friend extended her hand to pray for the woman, she collapsed. My friend said that it was really awkward after this woman collapsed just out of the blue, and my friend said that the woman was fine later and was basically faking it. Another friend of mine who was security for a famous tele-evangelist once was called up and the woman touched him and he collapsed, but he said that it felt like the lady had a taser or some electric wire on her finger because he felt an electric current passing through his body when she touched him.

Radical evangelicals of some sort. Probably not anything specific in order to fill more seats.

Haha sadly not quite... http://www.bennyhinn.org - the show is "This Is Your Day with Benny Hinn" and it's broadcast every morning at 5:30am here. I wasn't feeling well once and woke up at this ungodly hour (irony) so I went downstairs and watched the religious programming for a while to discover that.

I think it's safe to say that this is poking fun at the more "funny" side of religion, which I think is quite alright. I take religious seriously quite often, but this made me rofl in my pants. :-s

I think they go overboard with this kind of religious stuff. Not really my cup of tea, and if I was on that stage, don't expect me to fall. I'd find it hilarious to just stand there and turn to the gawking audience and just say, "What?" The guy would probably punch me after that to make sure I fell. Still, that image is quite funny to consider. :lol:
