History Paper

Hey guys,

In my history class, which is up to the 1550's, we are having to write a 12 page paper on anything historical that has ever taken places before 1550. I usually do my history papers on the Mayans, but I am thinking of switching it up a bit.

Do you guys have any suggestions on what I should do it on? I was thinking of doing it on the Asian migration from Asia to the America via the ice bridge.

Hmm. There's a lot of stuff that happened in the time period. Exploration, Reformation, Renaissance...those are all around there. Your criteria seems quite vague. Can you give any other details or is it just sometime around the 1500s?

It is literally ANYTHING that has taken place before the 1500's. We are going to be arguing a point I guess, so I would like something that I can prove. I am usually good at informative, not argument papers.

If you're interested in ancient immigration like over the ice bridge, you can also delve into the history of the Vikings.

EDIT: How about the Celts of Ireland or the Gaels of Ireland?

Write about something in Asia, because the history classes never go over Asian history until WWII.

If you want something specific then pick something. You have 100 years worth. Tell them about how we burned Joan of arc to death for being a real ***** and ruining our war. If you use those words exactly I'm betting you'll get a gold star.

I still don't get it. The roman empire was all over Europe at one point. They was a very clean lot. Tho I'm not even sure if your talking past or present cause i don't understand the joke.
