I struggle to understand why shes in the public eye and why the public in general cares.

These "celebrities" that have done..nothing at all but for some reason have there lives broadcasted in newspapers and on television..i don't get it. At all. Are peoples lives that boring and empty that they'd rather hear about someone elses boring crappy life instead?

I mean i generally do my best to ignore it. From what i can tell shes an idiot. Shes an empty vessel. Why do people bother to pay attention? So shes doing drugs? Do we care? Is it really a great loss to the world if this woman was to die tomorrow? Would she be remembered for anything significant? Is she going to change the world in anyway? Is she worth the expense it would cost to keep her in a prison? I don't think so myself.

It is the only thing i care about in the world. Russia is actually better than America. You guys produced Paris Hilton. A useless empty shell. The russians made a freaking donkey fly.

And again the cat in a bin was funny. I laughed at that. I sorta think "so what" when i see anything on Paris Hilton. I'd like to interview her one day and ask her a few questions;

Eh. Same with Jon & Kate + however many children they have, Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, and all those other people that have "terrible things" happen to them.

The problem is that no matter how many people are indifferent to celebrity news, there are people that avidly follow the stuff. And the paparazzi's cameras just keep on clicking, and then we hear about whatever drivel the media decides we should hear about.

Apparently the biggest and most covered news story in 2007 in America was Anna Nicole Smith's death, someone I hadn't even heard about before it happened. Then we all heard about it, over and over again.

BTW Creepy, you should have seen this one episode of (opera I think...) Anywho, these people were so crazy about celebrities that they would spend 5 hours + per day reading gossip stuff.

So....Paris got busted outside my sister's hotel when they were staying in Vegas this last weekend. I thought it was really cool that she was so close.
