Have you had any encounters with the police?
Just a question.
I was out last week, friday night, at the bars. We left about 1:00, went to my friends house near by. We figured the night was still young, so we sat out in front of the school downtown.
We were there for about 20 mins, when 3 cops cars pulled up, and asked for our ID. I guess from the idea that I was chain smoking, that someone thaought I was smoking a little something extra. The one cop even searched the ground around us with his flashlight. They were gone and out of hair within in 5 mins. So it's almost 2 we figured we should grab something to eat, pizza pizza it was. After that we strolled downtown and watched all the drunks, I swear half or all our police force was downtown. Just to funny, me and my friends are still drunk but enough that we can laugh at all the other plastered people, and not be bothered by the cops.
But yea what kinda encoutrers have you had?

Before i say my encounter, ill say this..

The police here in australia and new zealand are much softer compared to America and mexico.

Getting back on track, i have had a few encounters with the police. I was on a tram and didnt buy a ticket. So when the tram police (ticket inspectors) came on, they asked me where's my ticket. When i refused to give them my name, the called the cops. Eventually i gave them my name.

P.S.If u were over here. Would u give your name and details, only to realise that without a ticket, it's like $160.00(AUD) for a fine?

Cheers, dafin0

^ well over here whenever a ticket inspector finds out you do not have a ticket, it's standard procedures to call the police as back up. never know who they may pull out.

i got funny stories of people getting pulled out from that place.
one guy complained that it was his 4th ticket this month, which is about 1000 altogether when the ticket cost like 1.50.

anyway police and me, not really. never had any police come to me or anything.

The security alarm malfunctioned at my old house so the cops came to see if everything was all right.

The only encounter with police I've had that is worth mentioning is when someone attempted to break into my house in the middle of the night. Ended up having a few policemen around my house and they asked me a few questions cause I managed to get a small peek of the person as they ran away. Never heard off them after that though...

Other than that its just been minor things like making too much noise in public etc.

55 mph in a 45 mph zone. pretty much was scared outta my mind! i was about 17 and my parents told me if i ever got a speeding ticket they'd take my car away till i was 21. and so yea i was in the cop car with him on his radio seeing if my license was real and he looks over at me asking if i was ok. and i said with a shaky voice "ye..yea officer?" and he ripped off the ticket.. crumpled it up and threw it on the floor and said "alright nevermind. ill let you off with a warning." I think he thought i was about to burst into tears or something because i was so afraid lol.

I still have every image burned into my mind -.- never will forget it and im more careful...well sorta ;)

well....actually last Saturday, me and my friends were at a park around 9:30 and my friend ghost rides his bike into someones wooden fence. He put a nice hole in part of it, and the owners of the house called the police. The policeman just told us to be more quit and to leave the park... I don't think the owners noticed the hole until next day.

Only one I can remember and think of was when I got into a head on collision with someone and I had to talk with the officer afterward about what I think went down. They can be nice sometimes, but more often then not, they are rough and serious. I'd rather not have to deal with police officers even if I have to. :?

apparently i have encounters with them at least once a week when me and my homies are chilling at wee hours in the morning.

i don't give a **** though, although there were a few cops who apparently think they're big shots.
