Obama of the two. But unless I happened to live in a swing state I'd probably waste my vote and go for a third party candidate.

Neither. Chuck Baldwin, he is the nominee for the Constitution Party... I personally believe that the two party system is corrupt. Albert Einstein is credited with saying that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting a different result. For years now, Republicans and Democrats have been leading the country in the same basic direction: toward bigger and bigger government; more and more socialism, globalism, corporatism, and foreign interventionism; and the dismantling of constitutional liberties. Yet, voters continue to think that they are voting for "change" when they vote for a Republican or Democrat. This is truly insane!

I mostly believe that as well, but I doubt it's going to change anytime soon. So we simply must pick the lesser of two evils.

I just wanted to point out that you used the phrase "Lesser of the two evils" in every thread like this. XD

Third party for me.

I just think thats what most elections are like. It's sort of like the main political parties here. There's the Conservatives and Labour, the Liberal Democrats are the third biggest party but they're small in comparison to the big two. When election time rolls around it's a cert that either Labour or the Conservatives will win, just as it's a cert that either a Republican or a Democrat is going to win the US elections. So it really comes down to picking the best of the worst.

I like Cynthia McKinney the best. [Green Party]

But I know she's not going to be elected so that's kind of like throwing away a vote.

So Obama.

Thats the problem... People only pick the mainstream candidates because they believe they are only ones who can win... But if enough people took a chance and voted 3rd party we might actually give the two parties a run for their money...
