I would suggest a worse punishment then those mentioned. I would sentence them to cleaning the vandalized objects and then also doing 240 hours of community service and serving 30 days in jail.

Ofcourse it all depends on the severity of the case. In this case I would do the above.

Vandals always know that what they're doing is wrong (that's why they do it) so I don't feel that this punishment is too severe.

BTW, 240 hours / 8 hours a day = 30 days, which is why I chose those numbers.

30 days in cell. They wont do it anymore after that, They'll learn from it.

It really depends how severe it was and how much (if any) damage was done. You say three cars were spray painted. Well was a just a streak of color, words, random spraying all over, one side almost completely colored?

Like I said it depends on the severity and if there was any costly damage. Add an option for "It depends on the situation".

It all depends on what type of property they vandalised, how much it was worth, and how bad the damage was. In this case, the signs aren't worth much and will not be looked at as much (even though it is property of real estate, it can be easily replaced, without much expense. This goes for the street signs as well.

Since you said there were paint mark on 3 cars (one being a mercedes). and a elderly home was vandalised. The f'tards obviously don't care about what they do, nor do they respect the eldery. They should equally divide the repair cost. Do 210 hours of elderly home community service, plus 15 days in the best jail your nation can offer :P

Cheers, dafin0

The community service part would be fine, but I would be totally open to creative sentencing on behalf of the judges. It would make it more interesting. :P
