I'm hoping they go back to their Hybrid Theory/Meteora days...then again, from what I'm hearing, it's another concept album - a new direction altogether. It'll be interesting to see exactly what that direction is.
Anyhow, for those interested, the first single off the new album will be out on August 2nd - "The Catalyst"
Yeah, they're having a competition for one fan to feature on 'The Catalyst', playing any kind of musical instrument. Last year, this would've been quite innovative but lately it's became the fad to get fans on your record.
EDIT: I downloaded the audio tracks to enter the competion for 'The Catalyst' remix thingy and it's all sounding very electronic right now.
