I agree that there is a traditional tie to medieval times in the U.K. However, I also agree that there is a huge fan base in North America for the game. I think that if one were held in the U.S. it would have many more attendees than the events so far in the U.K. I also think that Chicago would be the best choice out of the three venues in the U.S. Chicago O'Hare airport is the busiest airport in North America. You can easily get a flight to Chicago from almost anywhere. It is more centrally located than New York or Los Angeles. It is close to the border crossings in Ontario Canada, tapping into that player base as well. For me, I voted for Chicago. It's only about a 6 hour drive from me. And, I would go if it were hosted there.
