2010: What will happen in rs?

1. New skill duh (i think it will be animal farming)
2. 2 or 3 new grandmaster quests
3. Major update to fming
4. Runetek6
5. New boss
6. New bigger city about the size of draynor
7. New minigame related to new skill
8. Update at obby
9. New type of armour
10. Major update to PVP
11. New wcing technique
12. Dragon kite sheild

Thats all of the bigger things that i think will happen what do you think will happen

I thought jagex said they wouldn't be releasing any new dragon items soon.

I agree with the FM update. I also think smithing will get a rework. Not sure what they can do, but its one of the skills thats almost never been touched. (at least recently)

I also remember reading that they are going to release a new boss hunting area similar to GWD. I think it was back in the summer on one of the Q&A's

Only time will tell. Hopefully they will live up to the hype there giving 2010!

I think they should come out with a new continent, the eastern lands, with the new skill being alkahestry like in fullmetal alchemist, a medicinal art that would allow for healing and buffing allies and hurting foes that come too near.

I think firemaking will end up getting a burn-X menu. There's a few more monsters that really need graphic updates (Jungle Horrors).
Some good quest sequels will definitely be released. Some new higher leveled armor would be nice, too.

Hopefully there will be some new unique items. Item updates are my favorite ones. (*see Dragon Claws, Godswords, etc. etc.)

Jagex didn't mention if this is going to be BETTER than Dragon or not. If this is better than dragon, then what will happen to Drag prices? Will the new armour degrade?

Yea, that seems to be the missing tooth in the smile right now. I guess I better sell my dragon square before it nose-dives like a kami-kaze plane. Unless of course the drag kite has a tough requirement (like a quest requirement, and the quest requires high stats, and other hard quests)

I also think Jagex will try and do more "community" stuff and social networking stuff -- I (hope) they improve the forums. I also think they'll try and work more on the adventurer's log to make it into something like Facebook or MySpace. It won't give THAT much freedom because Jagex want to keep it as kid-safe as possible.

An idea that Jagex probably have already thought of: Allow recording of videos and uploading directly to Youtube.

Has anyone mentioned the collapse of the economy and a "The Great Depression of Runescape" yet? I can feel it coming, as there have been signs leading up to it and a gradual decrease in the value of the gold coin.

Remember that it's just a game >.>

If worst comes to worst, Jagex will tweak drop rates to increase or decrease the value of items if need be. It's a controlled market, they won't let it get too out of hand...

Did they say/hint anything about Runetek6? Otherwise, they just did Runetek5, I don't think they are going to start on another one right away? :S

I hope Prifddinas is released and it is huge, like at the very least a quarter of the current map's size. And it's not like "do quest, get benefits, leave and never come back except to train skill once and a while" and is like the new main area of RuneScape or something. IDK, it should be big and not useless.

Fairy Tale Part 3
Grandmaster Quest
Hopefully a GWD-type dungeon
Rebalance to many skills
Skill-related items (like the adze or agile clothing)
