Runescape SIngle player?

Would you ever play RS if it was only an rpg and not multiplayer? Personally I would never play it because the game is so dependent on interaction with other players and so many activities would be lost, i wouldn't have the want to ever play. Also there is nothing to really do by yourself and if you get a 99, who will be there to congradulate you the sandwhich lady?

I'd never play runescape without the multiplayer aspect. It's such a huge part of my day to day activities. No longer could I boss hunt or talk to friends. I could see single player runescape getting boring very, very quickly.

Nope, I would not play game. I only play now because I can interact with my friends.

Yes it would sell instantly but it would always stay the same price and you had no updates to the game anymore.

It would be cool if you could switch from singleplayer to multiplayer.

Noo way, the game would be too boring without others. I can't even imagine what it would look like, all cities filled with only npc's. Can't even show off your phats

I don't really talk to much people while I play because most of the time I'm doing something that requires timing and focus (RC, agility, construction, etc.) I only talk to a select few people over MSN when I play. If multiplayer was completely eliminated then yes I would probably consider quitting. I wouldn't, however, mind a single player mode for when I don't have internet access to train skills. Haven't put much thought into it, and it probably wouldn't work. Oh well.

Not even an option. I don't think Jagex would even consider it for a second. Almost everything in the game is made to be 'massively multiplayer'. I would quit. Almost everyone would quit.

One of the reasons I play RS is BECAUSE it's an mmorpg. So I'd quit if that happened.

See this is what I expected, Runescape is an mmorpg it's made to be multiplayer and that is so intertwined with the game that they would most likely have to make an entirely different game that isn't so dependent on the multiplayer aspect, but it wouldn't be anywhere near as popular as RS.
