I've been playing 4 years and 4 months. I started just before christmas event of 2004 and I remember that all my friend got the yo-yo but I didn't.

It's been on and off between now and then but in the last 2 years I've really gotten into it.

Yeah I remember when Slayer came out... I had no idea what it was or that it was a big deal that a new skill had been released. Now once i get wind of a new skill I start saving money so I can train it as fast as possible. haha

I started playing when my cousin told me about it. And he helped me get started. It was in early 2002. I was around 7 at the time lol.
It is a waste of life. But I have tried to do something else with my spare time but I can't find anything. I'm lazy and a geek , same with all my friends so Runescape is a perfect Match.

I'm not sure but the earliest update I remember was when they increased the highscores from 500k people to one million.

I started playing on 3rd April 2008 so just over a year. No 99's yet (although cooking is close). I have managed to get a Quest Skillcape though which I am quite pleased about.

It's a shame I missed out on all the cool holiday event special items of years gone bye.
