Why am I almost 2.5m richer, and rising?

Hello all. To be honest, this thread is so I make more profit, but this will also earn you profit. If you go to World One, you'll see this:

You get the picture. At the moment, I'm holding 500 rune scimitars which I bought for just under 16k. They're almost at 20k, so, yeah, almost 2.5m profit.

Now... To the YOU making money part. It's simply. Sell ALL of your unneeded stuff, get as much cash as you can and blow it all on rune scimitars. You're going to have to buy them at max price, but keep in mind, that's just going to help them go up (Which earns us all profit). Also keep in mind that it will only sell you 100 every 4 hours and that they won't sell straight away.

DO NOT SELL THESE SCIMITARS UNTIL THE PRICE RISING SLOWS DOWN. If we get enough people, they will rise by our buying prices AND demand. Currently the only thing that is giving us rune scims is monsters (Mainly cockroaches) and smithers. Make sure you tell your clan mates and friends, buy as many as you can!

Good theory, but you can't sell rune scimitars in bulk. Take this idea and apply it to something thats in higher demand. Such as maybe coal, some type of rune, raw fish maybe. You'll be more likely to get more steady reliable fast profit.

I agree, or even super sets in general. I used to merchant those a lot back in the day. (W18 Edge) Theyve gone to hell, but I think they'll make a pretty good recovery thanks to the new update.

Most people trying to do this (by 'this' I mean trying to raise prices, with a ton of people helping) aren't really looking after anyone else but themselves. And judging by your post count, I'd doubt you're going to stick around long enough to find out who's going to help.

Sure, you may be honest, but I'd highly doubt that. Without doing this with a group of friends, most people in your position will just sell the Scimitars when they reach a near max, and tell everyone else to sell after they finish selling theirs. Not really a nice move, but I suppose it benefits someone.

i like your idea but
it should be something easier to sell in bulk
maybe logs,runes,potions, or herbs

When u try selling that many rune scimmi while prices are not increasing you may not be able to sell all of the scimmi's.

I'm using GE, and the introduction of PvP, to train cooking at no cost. I'm taking advantage of the rising prices of consumables (in this case, shark). I bought 5k raw shark two days ago. Today, I've been selling the cooked at a higher price than I bought the raw.

I don't know how long this will work. Prices will stablize at a new level. Also, I've read that merchanters, who bought up food last week, plan to dump it all today, Sunday. (Evidently the have forums where they hatch these evil plots.)

In the mean time, I'm leveling up cooking pretty quick. :-)

well at the moment super strengh pots are going down

super strengh (1) went down 65gp today
super strengh (2) went down 129gp today
super strengh (3) went down 193gp today
super strengh (4) went down 258gp today

and its the same with attack and defence so super sets won't be very good but sharks looks like are going up (+58gp today)

It much better to sell raw materials in the long term in my view (unless it's armour sets which you've made yourself), people prefer to buy raw fish/ores etc than the manufactored stuff as it gives them exp.
