The new skill! (Dungeoneering)

I'm quite sure that the Orb of Oculus is the next update (was in their new youtube video about the rules for the Machinima Competition) but the twitter hint for the update after the Ord of Oculus, or the new skill could come out with he Orb of Oculus update. But ya, most likely not this coming Monday, but the Monday after hopefully.

Like I said on Runewire, an update to the friends list and a new magic based quest or a new spellbook, but it goes with last weeks update so most likely a magic update. Maybe this will make magic equal with all the other forms of combat.

Well I have a feeling something big or at least some big changes are in store for tomorrow. It is rare that Jagex cancels an update because of engine problems. Must be pretty big in my opinion.

Well, with that new quest the max qp now is 299. So my theory now is that there will be a mini-quest introducing the new skill (much like the herblore or summoning) being 1qp for a total of 300.

What do you think?

Well... it makes sense. But they might wait until the end of the month to release it and bring out new content leading up to the new skill, or just new content in general.

It does seem like that would be a very logical thing to do. Of course they could surprise us and release it just cold turkey. People would be very pleasantly surprised.

Ah, got it. So it sounds like there is going to be some money involved... Maybe something like Summoning where money is needed during some parts but not purely 'buyable' like Construction.

I doubt it would be as expensive as summoning though. I think that summoning was a lot more expensive (time-wise at least) than construction was. I mean, Summoning is in a way buyable, since you have the option to buy the secondaries or get them yourself. I would imagine there wouldn't be too much money involved since this is going to be F2P.
