Banned? What? Why?

how is it "afk" training when you are at the keyboard. all you need to do is move your character every couple of minutes. And how would jagex know that you are whatching youtube videos. They are assuming that you are breaking the rules. This leads to accounts beind banned for no reason. Even i go on rsbandb while i play runescape. I listen to music and, i look up facebook. And how does jagex even know when you are away from your computer. If they can find that out, I will quit =O

To solve this issue, they need to shorten the idle log out time.

Yes I agree. When they first made the logout time 5 mins. I was happy, but really wasn't the best idea.
Won't affect me either way since, even when I first started playing. I always had a problem with right clicking everywhere and everything lol.

And for the AFK.. they could call it AFT... away from tab :mrgreen:

You have more chances to win the lottery two weeks in a row than having your account back after being accused of cheating. It was pretty much already lost before you even sent the appeal.

It says nothing about runescape being the one thing on your screen. They understand some training is monotonous and people like to distract themselves with youtube videos or browsing the fourms, why else would they increase the logout timer from the old 1:30 to 5:00

I think that Abuse Reporters are particularly a smart bunch, and I think that some reports have lack of evidence, but these things still happen. I hope you get your account back and that Jagex can fix any possible bugs or judgment calls in the system. #-o
