Just proves levels doesn't make someone mature. Just shows they are able to stick with all the clicking and its just a number.

i know what you mean 101% Me As A Mongoose run fastly through the undergrowth but still catches a little inmaturity. Annoys me as it does i simply put tofu in my ears (public off)and keep moving. Ware is the maturity hidden? As a Mongoose(again)I have been everyware, i have found that it has been hidden in many places. Mature people just play the game of course, gain lvls, have fun. The unsomemature (woo) are all over the place harrasing people.
So think, Someware ware lowlifes would die easily? kbd, kq, killing jad (or trying to), ect.

Go there...

Mongoose together,

First of all, Welcome!

Yea I know what you mean about all the immature players of RS. I think it kinda puts a stamp or a bad name to RS in a way too. Like when people hear RS they usually think of little kids fighting dragons and whatnot. Of course this isn't true at all, but whatever... :?

As far as certain skills more mature players train on (being an avid runecrafter myself) I would have to go with more time consuming patience requiring skills.

Skills such as:
-Farming
-Slayer
-RuneCrafting
-Summoning
-Agility
-Prayer (due to expense)
-Construction (due to expense)

Skills such as Cooking, Woodcutting, Fishing, Fletching, low lvl combat, and Mining (borderline) are easier skills thus drawing the attention of the less in depth players. No offense to anyone who enjoys these skills im just makin a blanket statement.

But thats my whole view on the subject. :)

Last time I runecrafted:

*sigh* Most other runecrafters I'd met had been nice. :P
I do agree that avid summoners tend to be quite reserved and therefore altogether more mature, same with people who train construction and maybe agility. They're the kind of people who tend to keep to themselves.

Farmers easily make top of the list, as you noted. But they're difficult to find... Go to any allotment and there will be 2-3 people standing there alching, waiting for their crops to grow. Anyone who has any idea what they're actually doing will just whip straight in and out.

To be honest i think there is a lot of mature players everywhere (but by this I certainly don't mean mature as in old - as some older players can be the most annoying noobs). They just tend to be getting on with the game and chatting to friends. Usually like others have said, in private chat.

If you're looking for maturity, don't go to world 100's Seer's Village magic trees during most daylight hours. #-o

Yes, I sometimes feel that I am playing with a bunch of immature little kids when I play Runescape. I have a few close friends that are around my age, and that's good enough for me to keep playing.

I think the reason you don't find many of the mature players is because we tend to not talk in public chat (or at least I tend not to). Also, you mentioned woodcutting, which is one thing you may want to steer clear of. I don't think there is really a 'mature player skill/zone', but just keep playing, and you'll hopefully meet some cool people.

Like a caricature of a human being, like an abortion: he had become a "sinner," he was in a cage, one had imprisoned him behind nothing but sheer terrifying concepts... There he lay now, sick, miserable, filled with ill-will towards himself; full of hatred for the impulses toward life, full of suspicion of all that was still strong and happy. In short, a "Christian"... - Twighlight of the Idols

Same, a lot of times I always see people misspell on purpose and use incorrect grammar and just being plain immature. I am glad to say that I am not one of those people. 8)

Hm too lazy to read the other points made

Anyway, there are noobs everywhere. And there arent many of them. But the thing is, the mature people dont run around yelling how mature they are. They are quiet. So the noobs stand out

I turn off public alot... especially when killing like experiments, lessers, and other high hp/good drop w/ low hp monsters. In rc, you'll find one of two types of people. The worst of the worst in maturity, and the best of the best. ZMI altar is good because low lvls won't go running through the abyss... farmers are few and far in between. I just today found out how fun herblore is, and I'm sure I'll pick up farming very soon. They're semi-easy skills with good profits. Sometimes certain people make me confused #-o I just don't get why people are so immature... *sigh*
