I've talked with my player mod friend. You can swear as much as you want, as long as you don't try to go around the filter. How can **** be considered offensive? :wink:

Sure, I would. If they just stated that ppl shouldn't report for starred out language, they are obviously going to disregard the report if thats what it contains. :P

sometimes things happen in rs that makes me swear i dont actively do it all the time but there are a few things that can make me angry enough to get there im glad the stars dont get reported tho there would be a hell of a lot of more people using qc if they were lol :)

In theory it does, but I swore, got reported, and got .2 black marks. kinda weird.

No it doesn't mean you can swear it just means as long as you filter the word you won't get a black mark. But I think some of my black marks were from filtered words in the past.

I'm pretty sure it's always been this way. I've been allegedly reported by some people who haven't read the rules when I was blocked by the censore, but so far, no black marks. So I'm pretty sure it's fine, even if you abuse it.

It hasn't always been this way. Once I got 1 black mark for saying a word that isn't even bad for 13+ and it was filtered. Wow that's stupid.

No. Jagex isn't going to allow swearing.

And if they did allow swearing, as a perm mute I would be incredibly ***** off.

Power Crazy,

Jagex has already stated that if you swear and it's filtered, then nothing will happen. If it isn't blocked, though, then you will get banned and/or muted.

When did you get the perm mute?
