What do you think about pking?

I think I've only PKed 1 person in my whole RS carrer. I honestly don't care if it goes.

pking was lame every time i jumped over the wildy ditch im held. 3 meleers come and hit me and then i die so i hated it

What people fail to realize is that Pking doesn't only affect RS in the wilderness. Without pking, what do you think will happen to the demand for sharks/monks, potions (prayer and super sets), and armor. These three skills, fishing, herblore, and smithing will all take a HUGE hit. I'm not sure, but the last time I checked, prayer potions were ony 4k each, probably because 70% of the demand suddenly disappeared. The other major demand would be barrows, which isn't as popular now due to the decline in barrows prices.

I personally enjoyed pking very much, and am saddened to see it go. But all the "skillers" that posted before fail to see how the new update affects them also.

Always hated pking. Still it was a very interesting facet to the game. I think they should bring it back in some form and they may do so after they have starved the gold farmers off.

When u are member pking is useles i agree but f2pers had it as only fun thing to do in rs at p2p minigames interesting quest wont leave u time to pk but at f2p... yeh i know its demo version of game also i paid for members to well i just cant aford internal membership...

I agree. I don't like pking at all. It also kinda a big waste of time.

I`ve been into the wilderness alot to do clues or with last clan to pk, but when i went out with me clan, i never pked anyone, i just died alot because i was the person with the highest combat lvl so we went far out and i tried runnng but that didn`t work at all.

I liked to go pking sometimes with a group of friends. I thought it was really fun just to go out and find some1 then try to kill them and getting tied up in battle it was exciting lol

sadly there is no more real pking unless you wanna count bounty hunter which is in my opinion almost nothing like old pking :roll:

I used to live to pk, it's all I would really do apart from fish and cook. It was fun for a bit of competitive money making. I think it was getting worse and worse towards the end of PKing. Lots of people had no respect for each other, if you did something that put you at an advantage over another person they would call you a '{Insert Action Here} Noob'. It was great when Runescape started to get popular but then for sopme reason as RS got bigger things got worse

Personally I'm glad to see the back of pking. Most of those involved in it were okay and just got on with clan wars and such, against similar minded people who wanted to kill other players. But more and more pkers just hung around the Abyss teleport area, wilderness agility course or air obalisk. Killing players who were just trying to get on with their skills. It was so lame to pike a runecrafter (always unarmedd and unprepared to fight) when all they would end up doing was lose the runecrafter their pouches. In fact the only time I've killed other players is when they've attacked me in the wilderness agility course or a friend I'm there with and they hadn't realised we were together.

On the other hand, Revenants are a joke. They're real easy to avoid or run from and just too powerful to fight, or carrying enough of a drop to make it worth your while.

I used to pk occasionally but with the clan wars and bounty release you cant pk anymore and when you bounty people pile on you as soon as you enter.

Im not overly fussed. Pking was a rush of adrenaline but i never really enjoyed it

PKing was only fun if you were winning. PvP on runescape had always, to me, been a game of luck rather than skill.
