What made you start play runescape?

Personally my friend showed me and then i got addicted to it :roll:

Whole bunch of people at school were playing it and I thought it was lame at first but then I started actually playing and I was like "0mg th1$ is 51cK!"

we was at a lan cafe and everyone plays the same game like as if were the in crowd ok so one day after getting sick of neopets everyone at the cafe tried out new games like habbo and runescape and found that runescape was pretty awesome

irony was that it was year 2002 or 2003 i forget so anyway we played till the day the cafe owner installed Warcraft III in their pcs and everyone was like o **** warcraft kicks so much *** and everyone abandoned "*** stupid runescape"

but i like it so i scaped till today.

Pretty sure I heard people talking about it at one point my Freshman year of Highschool, but I ended up starting to play the following year when I had a few friends who were playing. Made some good friends in real life because of it, though most of them don't play anymore =\.

A friend first showed it to me, but it might have been RSC or the earliest stages of new Runescape. Then, in junior high, a bunch of kids were playing. That's when I decided to jump on the bandwagon.

I find that I'm more likely to join something or do something if a bunch of other people are doing it at the time as well. That's how it happened for facebook, as well.

Went to this ict club fun thing and my mate was on the computer on runescape so i looked and he said i should go on it cause its a good game so when i went home i tried it and i got addicted lol.
