Runescape start running REALLY slow

Why did Runescape start running REALLY slow all the sudden for me? Last night Runescape was running fine now today it takes forever, and it lags enough to where I can't even log-in. I don't know what to try, but I would appreciate it if you could help me. If you need more information then tell me and I'll edit this and add the info if I can provide it. Thank you!

Glad to hear it hasn't just been me. I'm also crashing a lot when using the client.

There was an engine update today for some behind the scenes work. That's probably what's causing it. Submit a bug report about it.

Same lag for me as well.

Not only lag, but the graphics, especially when setting lighting detail to high, are also glitchy.

Jagex breaks the game, so when RS3 comes out we think its great. Obviously.

It hasn't been running slow for me but I do get a weird colored border on the right and bottom parts of my screen. I've had both Red and Yellow just appear and it won't go away until I log out.

Proabably some beggining html5 stuff is what the engine update is
