an even better question is: What is Mumble? I seen it at the bottom of the forum but I have never used it.

1. I went in there the other day and no one was in there.
2. Teamspeak is probably better. More people probably use it to and would therefore use it.
3. Poll should be created to guage interest in keeping Mumble or getting a Teamspeak server or just scrapping the idea altogether.
4. Bacon

Uhm it used to be Team Speak and no one used it either so it doesn't really matter what application it is, regular use of voice chat isn't popular

I don't like Team Speak, I have bad history with it. If anything Ventrilo is a better program.

We used to have a teamspeak2 server but it is incompatible with a database upgrade we had to do. Teamspeak3 is a piece of crap and you can't integrate it with anything easily. Do we really need another rsbandb account for something barely anyone uses?

Mumble was not too bad to set up to use the forum logins and it seems to have better quality and latency than teamspeak. The only problem that I can see with it is that the Mumble client can take up to 30 seconds to start up on 64 bit windows…

Teamspeak or Ventrillo is fine with me. I use both. I would love to get on more if other people were on. I just don't think the interest is there for most people.

And when Team Speak first put in pretty sure Mike spent half his life making it so that you'd log in with your forum account and then NOBODY USED IT REGULARLY HOW DARE US.

For like three days now.

GET ON MUMBLE or I will continue listening to silence and my air conditioner.

Right. Rather than trying to come up with other programs to use, lets just commit to using the voice chat we have now. I was interested in going in there, but it was down whenever I tried a few weeks ago, so I thought it was just always this way. :S

We also need support from the owners of RSB&B. If we could get some of them to stop by and say hello, I think that would greatly improve the use of Mumble.

I'll download Mumble again and will start using it again. :)
