If you could recommend a series, or trilogy, what would it be?

Please no:

- Harry potter because I am reading it now.

Just 1? I hate "just 1" questions. Well, I'm not going to pick just 1.

Chronicles of Naria is good. The Halo books are good. I only read 1 book in the series, but Ender's Game is great. LOTR is quite wordy and detailed, but a good read. But if I had to choose only 1, I'd probably go with Ender's Game.

If you go with Ender's Game don't read Xenocide. I'd second that recommendation for the Halo books too.

Any particular reason why?
