Is there a way to make it so the annoying jagex cache files and random.dat bs files don't end up in my home folder? They are annoying and in the way.

I know they weren't on the rules. But how risky would a java based private server (not runescape okthx) be to a mac user? If java is updated etc and patched. CUstom client etc runtime?
