My graphics card wont let me set my resolution to 1440*900 are there any workarounds? Because I can't seem to find any.

Found a 19" LCD monitor by a dumpster and decided to drag it home, only problem was a blown capacitor. Saved around 200$. (Glad im off that horrible sony crt)
