Goals and what they do.

Hey everyone.

We all know that goals are important in life and on the game. Without goals we just merely wander about aimlessly doing simple things not focused on a certain goal.

So I'm wondering what everyones main goals are, I don't need you guys to go 100% specific as to tell me what your goal is (you can do that if you want).

What type of goals do you go for? Like Money goals, Item goals, skill level goals, or quest goals?

I myself am only going for skill level goals right now. So now its your turn what type do you go for?

Im mainly focusing on non-combat skills, and trying to save up for an Abbysal Whip, but i do tend to float from one skill to another and not train just one for long periods of time.

I'd like to get all non-combat skills above 60 and all my non combat skills 60 or above to 70 and so on.

Well, when I get back from camp my goal is to get all f2p stats (prayer and rc don't count k?) to 65, since just before members i got all f2p stats to 60 (prayer and rc don't count k?).

I'm just skill-training on the whole, but doing it one or two skills at a time (i.e. wc-fm at the moment) just so I have a good number of skills at a healthy level whenever something happens. Slow process though.

It's funny..i've never particuly had any goals on runescape till this year..when i've been trying to improve my character as much as possible. So at the moment - skills for me as well..come on all 70+.

Well, I can tell you Shane, in about 3 levels, your skill total will be 1337. ^.^
Me...eh..70 defense so I can wear my Karil.

It's driving me crazy.

Anywho,
My current goal is to get 80 cooking (well, if I cook all the lobsters I have, I'll have 82 cooking) and 76 fishing - so far, I have died of boredom.

Must...have...cook all...option... :evil:

I go for skill goals. But, of course, there are many skills that you need loads of money for, and for someone who isn't the richest person; I have to go for money goals to get skills goals, if you see what I mean.

I'd actually like to comment on the title more so than anything else. When I have a goal, I usually publicize it. I'm self-paranoid and I am always wondering what people think of me. This way, I won't let myself down and I'll finish my goal. Making my feel better mentally.

Oh yeah, I should probably answer the other question too. I'm on a quest for 75 smithing right now. (Always had a low smithing.) So I'm fishing sharks to get the money.

I would say upping my skills. I never really go for money or items that much. The only time I really did was when I got my rune trimmed.
