Whats with the number 85?

Everytime you reach lvl 85 in a skill, you become a god in that skill. You think 85 is Jagex's favorite lvl to put good skills?

85 magic= Tele block
85 fletching= Magic long bows
85 mining= Rune ores
85 smithing= Rune bars
85 slayer= Abysall demons
85 farming= Torsol

The only thing u get when u reach 99 in a skill is the name of *insert skill name* freak! And when u get 99 all skills, u get the name "nolifer". sounds great

but i don't think theres any reasoning to it, its probably one number they've picked at random to use for high level skills .

i think its based on the exp. i mean once you get to 85 in any skill sometimes earlier for some skills its where the exp gets insanely hard to increase rapidly..maybe they have just decided to mark out that milestone..who knows really

no you can't. PhPBB doesn't allow you to edit polls once there made. Unless they added a mod...

Well anyways, ya i do think they like the number 85. I also think they like the numver 1, cuz 19 out of 20 skills allow you to do something at that level!

....no not a "modererator". a "mod", like a hack. It's when they edit the phpbb code to allow you to do things the original code doesn't let you do.
