Ok i have made a list of things that need to be changed as jagex has no clue what so ever lets hope they read this!
- Protection prayers need to be moved up to a level between 50-70 i AM NOT a pker but i dam well disagree a level 60 should get an easy run from a level 100 because he has a measly level 40 prayer.
- Mining needs to give high levels a chance to beat low levels. Random is pathetic i am sick of being beat by a level freakin 40 miner.
- Money is far to easy to make now. Stop realising good armor and weapons and making them stupidly easly to get - people should WORK for there money.
- Remove the luck system. It's pathetic.
- Increase magic logs and sharks time by how high a level you are so it is AT LEAST noticable claiming it does is stupid and i don't believe you.
- Ban people.
- If someone has stars appear five times in a minuete the game should auto mute them for 10 mins.
- Sort out the forums - they suck. Worst forums i've ever seen.
- Stop bringing out god dam weapons and armor..jesus what about those of us that don't particuly care about pking or melee?
- Put some variety in your quests. "go here - get this - get back here - kill that - well done here have a useless 5k exp"
- Stop catering for low levels.
- Put up a links page on your main site intitled "games better then runescape" so the next time and there will be a next time you decide to kiss low levels feet i can leave and take my money else were.
Okay, here we go, in order. Brace yourself.
Prayer: Leave it the way it is. The majority of this rant of yours is anti-PK in basis, yet this suggestion is geared toward PKers. If you want to change prayer, add more prayers beyond 43. What kind exactly, I don't know, and I'm not going to wrack my last 3 functional brain cells to come up with them right now.
Mining: Agreed. I especially hate the "ha ha noob!!" crap you get when some twit 20 levels lower comes along and one-hits the rock you've been hacking at for 15 or 20 seconds. It's ridiculous.
Money: I must have missed the part where money is too easy to make. I have a helluva time making money. Sure, there are level 3's walking around with phats. Good for them. If they want to dedicate themselves to acquiring a piece of paper to adorn their heads, more power to 'em. My whole mission in RS life is to be able to acquire the best things that--GASP!--will actually have an effect on my game play. Armor, weapons, runes. These things I will spend money on. A piece of colored paper? Pfffffffff.
Luck: Absolutely agreed. Kinda goes along with the mining thing. I'm killing Fire Giants for hours with nothing better than a rune scimmy to show for my efforts, and some halfwit wanders in and gets a d med on his first drop? Either I have the worst luck ever, or my ring of wealth is defective. Remove the luck system. Make a set number of kills for certani items. Say 10,000 kills for a dragon drop. That's 10,000
consecutive kills. Not kill 30, go kill lessers for a day or two, come back and kill 40 more. You leave the area, you start over. Simple, no?
Magic logs and sharks: YES!!!! I can watch an entire episode of a show in the time it takes to get one freaking load of sharks. I understand that they're supposed to be harder to get. But isn't it half the point that it's hard as hell to get to 76 fishing anyway? Do they really need to be obnoxiously slow?
Banning: Bah, that's too easy. They'll never do it, and we all know why. The power of the almighty dollar. Unless they catch someone freebasing Bob they really don't give a rat's posterior, as long as their membership payments are on time.
Stars: Disagree, because not only does the retarded censor block out words that it shouldn't, half the time it also blocks out whatever you're trying to say instead of what it originally blocked out to begin with. It's almost impossible to carry on a decent conversation with someone anymore. Unless someone comes out with an "English to Asterisk" dictionary, or Jagex actually programs their chat filter to not be quite so Rain Man like, muting people for having their chat starred 5 times is overkill.
Forums: Agreed. They're absurdly difficult to navigate, and God help you if you're trying to track down a specific topic. It's a little like trying to rollerskate uphill on ice.
Weapons/Armor: Agreed, in part. I like the idea that they're creating a little variety in weapons and armor, but the fact that all the specials and protections are geared directly towards PKers is irritating. I don't PK. So it stands to reason that I'm not going to care if my new weapon can drain my target's prayer to 0 instantly. How on earth is that going to benefit me training on black demons? The game isn't PKScape.
Quests: God, yes! Honestly, the whole "fetch, kill, fetch, reward" formula is tired. I actually liked the Recruitment Drive quest, despite how easy it was. Why? Because, instead of "fetch, kill, lather, rinse, repeat," it was original. A series of challenges and puzzles. I like that. Just don't incorporate the sliding block puzzles. I can't do those to save my life.
Catering: Well, they do need to pay some attention to the lower levels, otherwise they'll lose interest quickly. But they shouldn't get the majority of the attention. If they have nothing to work towards, they're going to lose interest just as quickly. Some kind of balance has to be found here. Which, of course, means it won't happen. They can't balance the PK triangle. What makes us think they can balance their updates?
Links: LOL! I like it, but I seriously doubt it'll happen. I would laugh my big flabby rear end off though if they did.
There. Now that wasn't so painful, was it?
