Couldn't agree more, the mods and admins at HQ are always ranting about this or that, you never see the owners of any other major rs fan sites ranting and moaning as much as the Rune HQ bunch :roll:

back who either became inactive or some other reason to

purpose.

And the reason I'm saying all this here is because
of that bloody new rule...I mean come on!!!
You're silencing people just because you don't want to accept blame!

I usually check the post before warning and trained in sarcasim to tell the diffrence If I do make a mistake just PM me and we will have a discussion about it. Also I never could like rune hq. They locked a post that I had in market saying allways selling addy ore and they locked it as a normal post! However when I came here I just felt like it was a natural home to me.

They may've locked it becaue it was inactive...
If no one posts in 7 days they lock it.
For your post you'd think they should've left it up.

First of all welcome Creepy bacon , i always enjoyed your thought full rants.Next thing i would like to say is that I could never stand the White background at Rune HQ , i like the black background here , a lot easier on the eyes. Also even though , i got responses faster there , i feel like i get better answers here 8-)

It lasted all of about an hour. Weezy locked it.

The whole forum has gone to hell IMO...
There were increasing numbers of misplaced
posts, more polls that have been overdone,
the same questions being answered over and
over again, and more pointless meaningless posts
like "What's your favorite Runescape food?" (you can't make that up)

Not to mention the mods were looking/hunting
for the wrong game. Instead of moving and closing posts...
they were busy looking for rulebreaks so they could
warn/ban them. I'm not saying all the mods didn't do their jobs,
but enough weren't so the forum was as organized as
Catherby's shoreline!

We have rules for a reason and they are not strict. They are common sense people!

I'm done ranting but please know that I'm not happy right now and if I see anyone posting complaining about the rules I have created or MrStormy has created, you will be banned. We have worked too hard on this website to put up with users who cannot appreciate all that we have given you.

Have a problem with something or a question about the rules? PM an admin, DO NOT POST ABOUT IT!

Actually, I did. I talked to him in game for a good half hour last night/this morning. That was actually how he put it. He basically got banned for disagreeing with a mod. He expanded on it some, and included opinions of the mods and owners of HQ that I won't repeat (hell, even the RS censor had some fun with that), but that was the gist of it. I even made sure I was understanding him by asking "So, you basically got banned for disagreeing with a mod???" and he replied "Yep."

What's absurd about the whole mess is, while a bunch of the others who posted after Creepy not only deserved to be banned (and were asking, if not begging, for it), it was essentially the behavior of all those guys that got him banned. In this case *bleep* ran uphill, and Creepy caught the flack for starting it all off by posting a farewell. And now, because of the people who were doing everything imaginable to get themselves banned on the farewell topics, you can't post a farewell topic. So, I guess if you decide to quit RS and the various fansite forums, people on HQ will have to just kind of vanish, or risk the wrath of Weezy, Stormy, and their stormtrooper mods.

most of the mods there are forum newbs. i remember this guy, he just signed up in april and now hes a mod.

i got official warnings for slightest reasons, like "spamming because i didnt read the whole post". so if i said something, and someone already said it, i got an official.

everytime i get an official, i always reply to the mod to explain, what happens? they always ignore me. so much for "kind and friendly community"

like this one time i posted a "im leaving" thread which took me 2 hours to think and write, and as soon as i see a mod in my topic, when i refresh that page, it got deleted. they just read it for the sake of scanning "rule breakers".

that "no flaming rule" which says no cussing, why all the trouble when you can just bleep out the words, and whats wierd is when they see just one word in a post like, "dude the tiaras are totally useless crap!", you get an official.

oh and pirate did get banned anyway. he told me on msn.

interesting discussion this has become.. Im enjoying reading it.. Many problems come with active forums.. Especially ones with 20,000+ users registered.. Its crazy..

When runevillage did their huge drop party on world 79 i think.. I went there at the time. and for like 20mins after it started, i couldnt see anything dropping except for maybe a str ammy.. I swore i saw literally hundreds of people yelling and screaming that RV sucks, that they were all losers for holding a fake drop party. The thing is, there were at least, 1,000 people at that drop party.. Now i dont care if you have a fast computer.. It would still visually lag, and rs will only show a certain amount of players on the screen.

Anyways, my point is, people flame, and spread crap around before they know their facts. Not all people. But the fact is the drop party was real, the lag was incredible, you couldnt see the items being dropped.

Alot of people take things to seriously with runescape. They forget that its just a game, a community of 120K players daily. Anyways, runehq is a very populer website. With many active users. Its hard to moderate.. Still its no excuse for the way their mod and admin team act.

Note: I would like to add that rsbandb and runehq have a very close relationship. What happened with creepy and other members banned from runehq forums is between them and the runehq forum admins and mods. It may be a very unfair decision they made, but we have to just deal with it..

If you havent already, i suggest just send something in through feedback. Or maybe send something directly to the owners of runehq.., Tell them exactly what happened, no bending the truth or anything. If you wanna get back on hq forums, let them know your not arguing with the decision. That you would like to come back on the forums, and if they continue to rave on about how wrong you are and such.. Then obviously they are some stuck up meatwads or something.. I dont know.. Personally, i dont know anyone from hq, and really dont have any intention of it.
