Whip or Maul?

I might become a member soon, and i was thinking of getting one of these. What should i get, and why?

And also, what do you have to do before you can use them?

I don't konw what the stat requirements are, but apparently, the Maul's special got changed, and doesn't hit 0 or Max, and is weaker.

go for the whip if u can afford it. Maul is really only good for castle wars , pking, and duelling. no clue on the requirements...

no slayer reqs i use a maul im 25 slayer and u only need 50attk 50str for wip u need 70attk so u can use both maul has like 81+ crush wip is 89+ slash i think but wips spec ownz i think u should get a barrow wep like gr8 ax or flail

whips are going around 9 mill and mauls are anywhere from 525k - 600k

Whip is around 7-9M

Maul is 400-500k.

In my opinion, mauls suck.

Whips are as strong as the B-axe, and a tiny bit faster than the dagger.

Definately get a whip, if you've got the cash.

maul if your limited on cash and too lazy to make alot of cash...lol

whip if your determined to have one very fast and good weapon.

Maul is not good for training.. it's only good if u're a good pker.. like pure stats

I'd take the whip all the way. It hits as fast as a dagger and is about as strong as the drag battle axe. The only bad thing about the whip is that it has no agressive attack.

For the whip it is 70 attack and 70 str to weild.

mauls got updated. they blow alot worse..

whip's were always better though, get the whip
