Email Scam Suggestion

Gather up all the info on the scam emails, and then post it in 1 topic and "global announcement" it. That way we wont have multiple stickies, and it will be easier to see the kinds of emails put out.

umm we dont need to do that.. its simple. never ever open an email claiming to be from jagex. Because they will never send you an email. IF you want to be stupid enuff to open it, say goodbye to your account

but thats only directed to the stubborn people who ignore jagex and get scammed and whine and complain because they were hacked.

Yea... I agree, Jagex says right on their site, they will never email you so I think any email about Runescape will be fake..

well yea, but everytime someone gets them, they just post a new topic, and trust me, if you look, there are quite a few of them :shock:

I just thought maybe that if there was a sticky, maybe not with the emails, but like a global announcement saying that "jagex will never eamil you...blah blah blah" and such. Its just that people need to know that however real it looks, it isnt, and i know quite a few people who have fallen for it.

Really? Maybe it should be global announcemented so it can be seen in every forum, just like the forum rules.
