A Sky...

By the way this is my first post. Wouldn't it be cool to have a sky a some sort. That would change as the seasons went by and like leaves and snow and rain falling from the sky. I know some ppl are saying that it is different weather everywhere. Well don't they have different worlds for every where. Or they could do something like in the morning every day it would be a winter type thing. and early after noon would be like spring. Late afternoon would be summer. And evening would be Fall.

I've played RPG games and when it comes to winter time, snow drops.. I like this idea.

That would be so cool! But it takes a lot of time to design all the new trees, grounds, etc.

with runescape though, you look from the sky and with the seasons being slightly different in each country it might not be feasible, good idea though,

Brad has a point here. It'd be cool if the seasons could be shown in the trees and grass though.

And no1 thinks about the loading times,when the seasons come whole rs would be changed,thats 4 times the game now is,bad idea :wink:

Everything would be altered by the seasons so they would have to edit alot of things whne they change seasons. But it would be ok i think if they changed the season according to what 1 it is where they are. Ex: I think there in the states so now it would be mid summer.

realease runescape 3.. On cd, ordered specially from the rs website. Brand new graphics, and skillz, weapons and everything including seasons. Of course,, the game cant be played offline.. Or else people could get too rich too fasst. Online only... i guess. just something i made up then.

I didn't imagine to get this many replies on my first thread. Anyway i was just thinking I really dont care how it would work or why it would be there. I just think it would look cool. Leave the Hows to Jagex.

I posted a similar idea 2 years ago on the official RS forums, and the people really seemed to like it.....

My idea was to replace the Christmas drop with a Christmas snowfall that lasts for a week or two. When you walk up to the snow, you can choose to make a snowball & throw it...doing no damage, though, just for fun, kinda like the rubber chickens. Make snowman & make snow angel would be the other 2 options you could choose with snow. After 2 weeks, the snow melts.

That way, there'd be no whining about not getting a holiday drop, but we could still have something to look forward to during Christmas in RS!

It isn't randomized in diablo, its different weather in different places. But I do agree with weather. Has anyone sent feedback to Jagex yet?

i know its randomized but that effect was what i was thinking. and now with the snow interactions and stuff wow it would be so fun...and they wouldnt have to have holiday drops either
