To make sure all these extra players doesn't cause the game to lag we have just purchased some extra bandwidth at the busiest locations, so it should be working much better now. We'll also continue to keep an eye on the bandwidth use to make sure we always have enough.

There is always at least 3 hours everyday over 100k players online...
Runescape is a successful game.

i remember at one point that i wouldnt go on rsc if it had more than 10 thousand people online because it was too crowded

It's definitely becoming too crowded. I remember on my first account (I don't remember the name) it was rare to see more than 1,000 people on any server (except maybe world 1, don't remember). Now to have less than 1,000 people on servers you have to get on late at night (10 pm - 4 am EST). I'm glad that the game is successful, but some of the people really shouldn't be playing. If you go to Varrock, about 1/10 of the people you see are scammers.

well i agree, but jagex aren't gonna say no more players allowed because they want more members and more money

If they haven't really noticed, most of the players never become members...I've playing awhile and I've never became member (I want to though)

next year there will be more servers and the year after that more so in a few years wil have about 500 servers :shock:
