Why is RS so Addicting?

About 2 weeks ago I decided to quit rs because I thought I was bored of it and wanted a break to do other things. This is the second time I have done this and for some reason I make it about 2 weeks before I start to want to play again. Why is this game so addicting? And what do you think....should wildrice206 return to the crazy world of rs?

I tried quitting, but i couldn't. It's so addicting because it is such a good game. There's new things to discover in Runescape all the time. I'll only quit when I get 99 in every stat.

I quit for about 3 months but i started playing again cause of my friend. It is hard to quit but if it doesnt rule your life like you "have" to play runescape its I think fine. I can go without rs for a week or so and not really want to play. If you want to quit play rs less and less until finally you get bored of it. Or just do something boring like fm.

the hardest time is after 5 days- 4 weeks. Then you wont think to it that much anymore.

If you post in RS related forums, why not just play the actual game? I thnk it's so addictive because of the millions of things you can do, and the challenge brought with each one.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I have decided to come back....at least during the summer. I may have to stop once school starts back up in august but for now why not have fun while I have the free time.

Mods can lock this if you want or let it go....but Ive made my decision.

oh man, u know, i talk 2 everyone, u should have a stop for a week and then play 4 3months than stop, because if u don't do it u get bored, believe me

my friend is addicted.......he got from like lvl 85 to lvl 90 in a week...i'm still have 85... :cry:

The only reason I find it hard to get away from is that it is too good of a game to quit. I mean you make good friends on the game.

(I know that me and many others would of already quit if there were no updates though.)

It's so addiciting because it never ends. There's always more to look forward to. And it forces you to set goals, which you always want to acomplish...
