i have got wireless, hmmm i think i may look into that possibility,
a good idea would be to block any forwarded ports and change the password on ur router, if u need help with that let me know or if u have linksys they have really good technical support, usualy to logon u go to
http://192.168.1.1 sometimes its different though hope i helped, get safe
EDIT: if its not 192.168.1.1 go to start>run>cmd and type ipconfig and look where it says default gateway, thats what you would have to type
EDIT2: also ive heard of programs that make you need a password to connect to the internet through a router ill look into it for u
