It's a vague question, I know. I was originally wanting to ask "What music makes you cry?" But I think it's more appropriate to cover all the feelings you feel when you hear songs. But in this case, I'm not just thinking of any song, but songs from movies in particular. The two that bring the strongest emotional response out of me that I can think of off hand are Hedwig's theme from Harry Potter and the main theme from LOTR. John Williams and Howard Shore are brilliant composers is all I gotta say.
And yes, both of them make me cry (or at least almost cry). It also makes me want to watch the movies again for some reason, too.

I guess for me it would be tunes that bring out the "beast" in me. I'm basically referring to music that I can "use" to motivate me when I'm exercising. There's something that click's in my brain when I listen to certain things that makes me want to push harder when I'm working out. A few of the songs I'm thinking of are the one's from the "Rocky IV" soundtrack. The songs that occur in the movie where Rocky is in Russia, training for his upcoming fight.
Songs that I personally can relate too. Which is typically music I only listen too. For that reason. Rather it's good or bad emotions. (Mostly bad) Depression... Suicide.. Heartbrake.. and such.
I listen to a lot of Blue October. Though I still feel sad. Maybe a bit worse off.. It makes me feel better.
Examples are.
I recently went through an end of a 5 year relationship with a girl I know. My ex actually. Though we have been friends for 2 years after our romance ended. She decided that her "new" boytoy was more important to her then our friendship.
So listening to these songs... made me sad/cry a bit , for losing my friend.
