[Guide] Range Guide (damage of arrows)

This guide is made through long experience of ranging, some info i'm still confused, but here's what i know:

I've always ranged on rapid, so the information are based on rapid, it might be different with accurate or long range.

Bronze: Range 49 to hit 7, 70 range to hit 9, 78 range to hit 10, 86 range to hit 11

Iron: 67 range to hit 9, 75 range to hit 10, 83 range to hit 11, 91 range to hit 12

Steel: 52 range to hit 8, 60 range to hit 9, 68 range to hit 10, 76 range to hit 11, 84 range to hit 12, 92 range to hit 13

Mithril: 48 range to hit 8, 56 range to hit 9, 64 range to hit 10

Addy: 62 range to hit 11, 70 range to hit 12, 84 range to hit 14

This is all i know, some hit numbers are left out because i'm not sure, :oops:

Uh.. One question from me. It depends on what bow you are using. are you always using the highest lvl bow you can use?

it's not possible to hit 11 using bronze arrows at 67 range, i was wearing full black dragon, magic bow, and still could hit only 10 on rapid.... and equipment doesnt count towards what you can hit. It only means the more bonus you have, the more chance that you'll be able to hit your opponent. What basically affects the amount of damage you do is through which type of arrows you use and if you pot or not.

I hit 15's at 77 range, so you probably cannot completely code everything.

it doesnt look like the best guide becuase your not including the member items for rangeing like the dragon hides and mage bows. so its ok i guess.

At 72 range I hit 10s with steel, so you can't hit 11 with bronze on accurate and 67 range or whatever he has.

my friend hits 15 with 71 range rune arrows and range pot :shock:

ok...it is IMPOSSIBLE to create a ranging chart. you know why? because it just doesnt depend no your range, also your str and atk...and the damage differs from player to player too. i saw that when i just turned 57 range i hit like 10 with steel and when i got to like almost lvl 58 i hit 11s....so you just cant create a range guide

I think it also depends on your range offensive bonuses...the higher it is..the more you hit..My friend has robin, full red dragon, ranger boots, and mage short bow....ummm.....64 range, uses bronze arrows and can hit 12's.

Ouch. It doesnt look like this is totally accurate. Try testing it out with different bows, equip, and arrows and try it again.
