Discussing our society's priorities and how screwed up they are is more interesting to people because it allows us to criticize stuff and it has discussion value. Honestly, people dying is bad but you can't really debate easily on that, can you?

I don't think so at all. If you look into why that man decided to shoot all those people it's a very very interesting topic. Have some reading material. The worrying thing is i rather agree with him. Course i don't think shooting a bunch of innocent people is the solution. I'd prefer it if we shot every male illegal immigrant 18 and up that tried coming into the country and every one that was found in the country. A zero tolerance crackdown. Women and children to be shipped out immediately - no waiting around, no bloody red tape just stick them on a ferry and insure they bugger off. But that's just me.

I said easily. You don't really have to research to debate on this, I never said you COULDN'T debate on that.

I don't really think I'd call reading a newspaper or news article hard myself. I tend to use at least one a day + the news on the tv in the morning anyway. Maybe I'm weird.

I think his reasoning opened up a whole can of worms for discussion. Far more than some smack head dying. Course hes not famous. Theres the real catch. Shes a celeb hes a nutter.
