Dark Souls

the follow up, but not a direct storyline sequel supposedly, to Demon's Souls by From Software. sounds great demon behind the video looks like they definately recycled alot of the stuff from Demon's Souls but plenty of new awesome looking baddies to smash the players into submission.

oh and they're being nice and giving the xbox360 users a stab at this one along with the PS3 fanbase.

tho the one thing they didn't answer, or even bother to ask, is if it will be a continuation of the King's Field games like it's predesessor Demon's Souls was.
still should end up being one of the hardest, if not the hardest game, of 2011.

I never did get to play demonsouls. They spent AGES releasing it in America and last I had heard there wasn't going to be a European release. Yet I've just checked a few sites and they seem to be selling it.

Is it any good?

Demon's Souls was great. hard on new characters, and gets progressively harder the more times you goto ng+, ng++, ng+++, etc..., monster AI and level gets raised with each cycle to always be slightly above your character's Soul Level (SL) so that even with a maxed character the lowest monsters can still kill you if your not careful.

tho it wasn't without some flaws that were found and exploited by many in the online components it was well worth playing and still is highly active with the co-op & pvp components.
