You bore me, RSBANDB

I once said that I when I leave RSBANDB, I would do it by making a hate note that explains everyone's faults. But now I just don't feel like doing that. It's not because I suddenly started liking every one of you, no, I still dislike a lot of you for many reasons. It's because I'm bored with this.

Sandbox was the essence of RSBANDB, the place where the fun were had even if it sometimes went over the top. Now that it's gone, I can't say I've had fun around here and it's taken me far too long to realise it. Surely, the activity around other boards increased, but quite frankly the level of discussion here has always been very low, and with the stupidly strict "discussion value" code, I can't say I've enjoyed posting even in the rare threads that I've found interesting. Not to even mention the other rules that restrict what I have to say by a lot. And on the top of it, this is one heck of a slow forum. You're lucky to have one or two replies per day in the threads you want to read.

Other forums have been my priority for months now. And with my lost interest in making sigs, even SOTW wouldn't keep me here.

I know many of you won't even care but this is just to say that I'm not going to be posting anymore.

Oh hush up about the sandbox. Seriously it was a big pile of idiotic crap that wasn't interesting or funny. I mean do you even remember what half the idiotic threads in there where about? It was as repetitive as runescape.

We had freaking THREAD after THREAD of just stupid page breaking..wtf was so amazing and interesting about something like that? It was dull and boring too. You know what made the place interesting? Unique, one of a kind interesting members.

Many of which have buggered off and moved on long ago. And I'm not being rude or mean to anyone but they've been replaced by the current gen of rs players who are much more like..well..there simply not the same. Don't really stand out from the crowd.

I'm not saying it's a bad thing this isn't some snobbey elitist behavior from an older member looking down his nose at the new ones it's just my personal look on it. I guess. I can't claim i know many of them cause I'm stuck in my ways and I'm determind to be antisocial. Which might explain my lack of interest in the site itself. Ever consider it's us and not the site? :O

As it goes tho I'm sure you've left once or twice before so i wont hold my breath this time round. Good job not writing out a hate list though that's the exact problem it's not original, funny or clever it's just dull boring and been done. If you want to go out with a bang do it in an original way for the love of god. And no bloody youtube videos either.

This is, despite the many number of people who post exclusively in the Non-RS sections of the forums, a Runescape fansite. Of course the majority of discussion here will be boring to you. Sure we aren't majorly active as a forum, but thats partly to do with the time of year. The activity always slows to crawl this time of year with the end of summer break and everyone back at school. And every year people always post the same rubbish "RSBANDB is dieing", "RSBANDB is less active than it used to be" etc. etc. Year in, year out. Always the same. Activity will pick back up again around Xmas.. then go quieter again in New Year and then back up at Easter.. then quieter again until next summer. It's the nature of a small community where the majority of the members are students. But I really don't see why that would bother anyone unless they're the type to sit on a forum 10 hours a day refreshing every 30 seconds and looking for new replies. Obviously RSBANDB isn't the forum for that type of person.

Ah it's a shame to see you go Slimppu. You were a valuable member of the community, maybe not always a good one but oh well. Also one day I hope to learn that its 2 Ps 1 M in your name and not the other way round. Oh well I wish you the best, have fun at that Muse concert.

Good bye. I don't see the point of "quitting" a forum, simply going inactive seems more respectful but at least you didn't ragequit, farewell. I didn't know you well but I did notice your signatures took lots of time and talent.

You forgot Mike, southrend and Jeff too. Your so inconsiderate. We should have our own private club. Like in harry potter it can be behind a painting. BUT IT MUST TALK. And our password can be toffees. And we can have sleep overs and tell ghost story's and fight off he who should not be named. And none of these new comers are allowed in cause they dont know the password and they didn't randomly discover the existence of this website before us.
